The fight will take place in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
Absolute world champion in super middleweight Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (60-2-2) will defend his titles against another Mexican Jaime Munguia (43-0).
The fight is officially scheduled for May 4. The boxing show will take place in American Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
Previously, it was expected that Canelo’s opponent on May 4 would be the American boxer. However, Alvarez was unable to agree on the terms of the fight with Jermall Charlo. The Mexican side felt that such a fight would not be very attractive from a financial point of view. After the deal failed, Saul began to look for other opponents.
In his last fight, Canelo defeated Jermell Charlo via unanimous decision in October. Munguia defeated John Ryder by TKO in January.
