The Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory has opened a procedural investigation into the fact that skiers were injured during competitions in Sochi during a snowstorm, the press service of the central headquarters of the department reports.
On Friday, during a race on the track of the Laura ski and biathlon complex, several minor skiers suffered injuries of varying severity as a result of a collapse. A total of 17 people were taken to hospital with injuries.
