Choreographer Elizaveta Navislavskaya told that when staging a program for Evgenia Semenenko on the song “Cranes”, she was looking for a natural expression of emotions on the part of the skater.

Russian champion Semenenko performed at the tournament of the Russian Challenge show program. The event took place on March 9 in St. Petersburg and the winner was Olympic champion Alexey Yagudin.

— We had a big brainstorm. We sat down with Alexey Nikolaevich [Мишиным], Nikita Mikhailov and Zhenya all brainstormed music ideas for the program together. In the end, we decided on “Cranes”. Nikita and I came up with an execution option and a concept. Nikita choreographed the program for Zhenya and I helped with the emotional expressiveness.
