The Briton wants to regain respect from the fans.
WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk will fight Anthony Joshua for the second time.
The British boxer spoke about his confrontation with the Ukrainian athlete. Joshua spoke about his preparations for the rematch.
“It’s important to be in the ring all year. The actual preparation for the fight continues until August 20. People have seen what I’ve been through, how I’ve used my mind and brain outside the ring, so they think that the everything is so easy. There is a certain level hate me, but it’s like I’m under a microscope. I can imagine how rock stars feel.”
Anthony called the routine for the second fight with the Ukrainian.
“The fight with Usyk is not just another fight. I just needed to believe in myself in the first fight. But now I have to believe that I can do it.”

Joshua talked about why he got into boxing.
“When I came to heavyweight as No. 1, I had the desire to step into the ring against anyone. I wanted to show that the British are strong boxers, and not just men who drink tea and biscuits.”
The Briton said he wants to earn respect from the fans.
“I feel that they don’t see me as a boxer who dominates the heavyweight division. I’m going to take these belts back because I want to be respected as a person. I want to be respected not because of the titles that I have, but to be respected because to what kind of person I am,” Joshua JD Official quotes.
It will be remembered that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) at the Super Dome arena.
In the first fight in September 2021, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision, winning the championship belt.
