Tyson expects a new show performed by Deontay
Former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will return to the ring soon. This was announced by the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
“I think Wilder will come back. Of course I think he can come back. He’ll fight again. In fact, I know he’ll fight again, but I can’t tell you who or when. But it will happen soon, and this is a huge fight that Wilder will take part in.”
At the end of December, Wilder lost to Parker at the “Day of Reckoning” boxing evening in Riyadh. The New Zealander won by unanimous decision – 118:111, 118:110, 120:108.
After the defeat, Wilder initially hinted at his likely retirement from boxing, but soon declared that he would “become a two-time heavyweight champion of the world.” At the same time, British heavyweight Joe Joyce, like Fury, is confident in the continuation of Deontay’s career.
