The team ranks 12th in Division 1 of the championship
Ex-Shakhtar player Mariusz Lewandowski dismissed from the post of head coach of the Polish club Brook-Beth Termalitsa. Along with the coach, another coach-analyst, Krzysztof Kawalko, will leave the team.
Lewandowski signed a two-year contract with Termalica in June last year. Previously, Mariusz already worked at this club from January 2020 to December 2021. The mentor also coached Zglebie Lubin and Radomiak.
Lewandowski is well known in Ukraine for his performances for Shakhtar (almost 300 matches) and Sevastopol in 2001-13. He also has 66 matches and 6 goals for the Polish national team. With Shakhtar, Mariusz became a four-time champion of Ukraine and winner of the UEFA Cup (2008/09).
Under the leadership of Lewandowski, Termalica is in 12th place in Division 1 of the Polish Championship. In the previous season, the club from Nečetsa fought for promotion, finishing third and losing to Pushcha in the playoffs.
