On January 29, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) suspended Valieva for four years for anti-doping rule violations and annulled her results effective December 25, 2021.
“Only a coach can provide this pill. Otherwise, this cannot happen. How could children get such a pill from a doctor? Without the participation of a coach, nothing happens to us,” Tarasova noted in the program “Life and Destiny” on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.
Valieva’s coach is Eteri Tutberidze.
