Participants of the World Youth Championship will spend the spring part of the season in the Second League
As became known Sports Arena, Polesie sent the goalkeeper Chijioke Anyagboso and defender Moses Jarju for rent in Zvyagel.
Aniagboso joined the Zhytomyr team in May last year, but did not play a single official match. Jarju, who has been playing since last summer, also did not appear on the field in the main team. It should be noted that the Nigerian Aniagboso and the Gambian Jarju represented their teams at the 2023 World Youth Championship.
Earlier, Polesie sent several of its players on loan to Zvyagel. So, in February, the Zhytomyr team formalized the transfer of the captain of the Congo U-23 national team, Borel Tomanzoto, and immediately sent him to the Second League club.
Polesie ranks sixth in the UPL with 33 points. Head coach Yuri Kalitvintsev left the team after a failure in the match with Alexandria (0:1). The next match Polesie will play against Obolon on March 16.
