Oleksandr Krasyuk shares his opinion about Usyk’s actions in the first days of a massive war.
The promoter of WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) Oleksandr Krasyuk said that the Ukrainian joined the terrorist defense after the start of a full-scale war with Russia.
According to the functionary, Usyk played the role of a man who must defend the family.
“None of us wants war, but when thieves enter your house, you protect yourself from them. And when enemies come they become only because they themselves direct the attack against us , our sacred duty is to protect family, relatives, and Motherland. Usyk is no exception in this situation. In such situations, it doesn’t matter if you are a world champion or an ordinary person. You have to do something, get rifle and do your duty.”

Krasyuk said that Alexander did not want to shoot, but he was ready to do it.
“Alexander, without delay, joined the defense of the territory and, together with others, patrolled the territory.
Every morning and every night before going to sleep, Usyk prays that he will not fire a gun. However, we all know that if necessary, no one will doubt,” Krasiuk was quoted by sport.onet.pl as saying.
It will be remembered that Usyk left Ukraine for a rematch with Anthony Joshua. Their match will take place on August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) at the Super Dome arena.
