“How can this happen? It’s impossible. Nobody gave Valieva anything. Everything was checked,” Kogan was quoted as saying by TASS.
Earlier, Tarasova suggested in an interview that at this age only a coach can dope skaters. In response, Eteri Tutberidze accused Tarasova of slander.
Valieva was disqualified for 4 years for anti-doping rule violations. The athlete will not be able to return to the ice until December 2025.
