Athletistic/ Figure skating. Tatiana Tarasova, honored figure skating coach of the USSR, explained under what circumstances she could apologize to coach Eteri Tutberidze.
Earlier, Tarasova on TV, speaking about the situation with Kamila Valieva, noted that only a coach can dope athletes.
“If I receive evidence of what really happened, I will apologize,” Tarasova is quoted as saying by TASS.
Valieva was disqualified for 4 years. The skater was also stripped of any awards as an adult.
Since February 2022, Russian figure skaters have been suspended from international competitions.
