Petkov’s team won the cup trophy for the third time in its history
SK Prometheus defeated Alanta in the final Ukrainian Volleyball Cup 2023/24 among women – 3:0.
The reigning champion took the lead in the score from the first minutes and confidently brought the first game to victory – 25:16. Alanta lost the second set almost without a fight, failing to score even 10 points.
But Gariy Egiazarov’s team managed to rally for the third set and give the fight to Prometheus. During the game, Alanta led 9:7, but the favorite still managed to seize the initiative and bring the matter to a close victory.
Let us remind you that in October, Ivan Petkov’s team beat Alanta in the Ukrainian Super Cup with the same score 3:0. Today’s cup triumph was Prometheus’s third in history.
