Frenchman Laporte won the 19th stage of the Tour de France, Vlasov remained in the top 7

French Jumbo-Visma rider Christophe Laporte won the 19th stage of the Tour de France.

Laporte covered 188.3 km in 3 hours 52 minutes 4 seconds. Belgian Jesper Philipsen of Alpecin-Deceuninck finished second. The third is the Italian Alberto Dainese (Team DSM).

Russian cyclist Bora-Hansgrohe competing under a neutral flag Alexander Vlasov finished in the general group, the stage did not change the top 10 of the general classification.

Denmark’s Jonas Wingegaard leads the overall standings with a total time of 75 hours 45 minutes 39 seconds. The second is the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar of UAE Team Emirates (+3.26), the third is the British cyclist Ineos Grenadiers Geraint Thomas (+8.00). Vlasov (+14.10) is in seventh place overall.

The next stage, 40.7 km long, will take place on July 23. The race will end on July 24 in Paris.
