The Ukrainian scored his debut goal in the Premier League
Head coach Bournemouth Andoni Iraola commented on the debut goal in the Premier League of the Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarny.
“Ilya is not very used to scoring goals, although he always helps with set pieces. Throughout the season, Zabarny was constantly close to scoring. So I’m glad he excelled in this match and was part of our comeback.”
Zabarny scored his team’s second goal in the match with Luton (4:3). Note that the Cherries were losing after the first half with a score of 0:3, but managed to snatch victory.
Bournemouth are in 13th place in the Premier League with 35 points. In the next match, Zabarny’s team will meet with Everton of Ukrainian Vitaly Mykolenko on March 30.
