“They spent about a week on delivery. All that remained was to not go wrong anywhere and do a double axel in the smoke. It was incredibly scary. It was scary to jump into the smoke. J I jumped purely by feel, and the axel turned out to be very smooth.
Why is this scary? You can’t see the ice, so you don’t feel safe. It’s like walking in the dark. The excitement was high,” Tuktamysheva wrote on her Sports.ru blog.
Tuktamysheva is the 2015 World and European champion and a silver medalist at the 2021 World Cup.
