For the first time, an active football player from the Cherkassy club can play for the national team
Midfielder LNZ Olivier Till received a call to Luxembourg national team for qualifying playoff match(s) European Championship 2024.
Once on the field, the 27-year-old player will become the first ever active footballer of the Cherkasy club to play for his national team.
Let us remind you that Till, who successfully played in the UPL for Vorskla in 2021, joined LNZ in February 2024, signing a contract for a year and a half. Managed to play two matches for his new club.
For his national team, starting in 2017, Olivier played 41 matches, scored three goals and gave three assists.
The Luxembourg national team, one of whose leaders is the controversial winger Gerson Rodriguez, who still belongs to Dynamo, is facing a historic playoff qualifying for Euro 2024. In the semi-finals of the selection, Luxembourg will fight with Georgia on March 21, and if successful, five days later with the winner of the Greece-Kazakhstan duel.
