Senior coach of the Russian cross-country ski team Yuri Borodavko says if he watches the European Championships.
In February, the FIS Council extended the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes until further notice. Previously, the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee recommended that international federations allow Russians who do not support the CBO to compete and only as neutral athletes.
— Sometimes I watch replays of certain races in the recordings, but not as attentively as before. I was mainly interested in young athletes: how they run, what speeds they show, whether there are new technologies. But I see that everything remains more or less at the same level. It is of course a shame that it is not yet possible to compete,” Borodavko told RT.
