The Reds mocked their opponents by scoring 11 goals in two games
Liverpool carried the Czech out of the field Sparta in the second leg of the 1/8 finals Europa League – 6:1.
Let us remind you that a week ago, Jurgen Klopp’s team brought a 5:1 victory from Prague, so this meeting turned into “training with increased responsibility” for them.
However, the Reds did not spare the underdog. From the 7th to the 14th minute, the hosts scored on Peter Vindahl’s goal four times. Each of the representatives of the attacking trio scored once, as well as 19-year-old Bobby Clarke, who scored his debut goal for the Liverpool first team.
Relaxed, the Reds were allowed into the locker room. But soon after the break they scored twice more; Cody Gakpo scored a double.
11:2 on aggregate – and Klopp’s team whizzes into the quarterfinals. The football public in Prague should not be at a loss – they saw two top clubs in seven days (remember, Milan confidently beat Slavia in the League of Legends).
The draw for the 1/4 finals will take place tomorrow, March 15.
