A large-scale project is starting in Ukraine to train military personnel of the Ukrainian Defense Forces for the effective use of modern technologies when performing combat missions: UAV technologies and other remotely piloted vehicles, communications, electronic warfare and reconnaissance. The project is being implemented with financial support from FAVBET. For military personnel, training will be free.
It is implemented by the organization “Beta – winning technologies”, which is part of the Ministry of Digital Development’s “Drone Army” project and since 2022 has been training personnel and advising units of the Defense Forces. From the first year of a full-scale war, the organization’s instructors conducted basic training for aerial reconnaissance officers and artillerymen of individual brigade units, worked with experienced military units to improve their skills, master new types of equipment and tactical techniques.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion, we have been supporting the Ukrainian army with the necessary equipment, vehicles and ammunition – at the request of the military. Among the first corporate donors, we are joining large-scale fundraising within the framework of projects of the presidential fundraising platform UNITED24 for the purchase of UAVs, innovative equipment for air defense and maritime drones. The Favbet Foundation and Favbet are active participants in the “Drone Army” project of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
A joint initiative with “Beta – Victory Technologies” on technological training of the Ukrainian military will provide the necessary knowledge and the opportunity to undergo internships and training, master skills in working with UAVs and more. The effective use of technology determines both the military result and the preservation of a valuable resource – the life and health of the Ukrainian military. About 90% of injuries on both sides are caused by artillery fire or the use of drones. FPV-UAV attacks account for about 50% of the destruction of armored vehicles, according to OSINT analysts.

“Beta – Victory Technologies” was created to give the Ukrainian army an advantage on the battlefield through the effective use of modern technologies, in particular by improving the quality of aerial reconnaissance. Trains personnel and advises officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The most popular training course is “Reconnaissance and Artillery Fire Adjustment for UAV Operators.” Beta provides services to the Ukrainian Defense Forces free of charge, with costs covered by the organization’s pool of donors.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, with the assistance of the FAVBET group of companies, including the FAVBET Foundation, the country’s Defense Forces have received more than 290+ vehicles, including 53 new Peugeot pickups as part of the “Army of Drones” project of the presidential fundraising platform UNITED24 and more than 650 drones of various types, including drums.
A significant amount of the FAVBET group’s charitable activities are carried out with the assistance of the Favbet Foundation. With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, military and humanitarian hubs were created within the foundation, which continue to operate to this day.
As of February 2024, the total amount of assistance to the Ukrainian army from FAVBET crossed the UAH 300 million mark.
