In men’s competitions, Ukraine will be represented by four athletes, the women’s team retained five quotas
Ukraine lost one quota in men’s competitions on Biathlon World Cup. In the 2024/25 season, the blue-yellows will be able to produce the maximum four athletes.
The Ukrainian team took 11th place in the men’s Nations Cup standings. The blue-and-yellows lost two places at once compared to last year’s ranking, losing ground to Slovenia and Finland. Ukraine fell behind tenth place, which allowed it to retain five biathletes, by less than 200 points.
Ukrainian women’s team moved up one place in the Nations Cup and ranks ninth place. The blue-yellows will be able to field five athletesas in the current season.
Let us note that in the current World Cup season there are still pursuit races and mass starts to be held. Both disciplines do not count toward the Nations Cup. The winner of the men’s CN competition was Norway, the French team became the best among women.
