The ex-Roma coach can receive 50 million euros per season in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Al Ahly And Al-Ittihad show interest in the Portuguese coach Jose Mourinhowho remains unemployed after being fired from Roma.
Clubs from Saudi Arabia, according to Spanish media, are ready to pay the specialist 50 million euros per season.
Mourinho, 61, has had an independent coaching career since 2000. With Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Roma, he won 26 different trophies, including five European Cup titles.
Since 2021, the Portuguese has headed the Roman club. With Wolves, the Portuguese won the first ever Conference League (2022), and also led the Romans to the 2022/23 UEFA Europa League final, where they lost on penalties to Seville. In January 2024, Roma officially announced the coach’s departure.
The other day it was reported that a certain Saudi top club was interested in forward Romelu Lukaku, who played under Jose at Chelsea, Manchester United and Roma.
Yesterday it became known that the streaming service Netflix announced the release of a documentary series about the career of Mourinho.
Al Ahly is third in the Saudi Pro League, Al Ittihad is fourth.
