The vacant seat went to GamerLegion
Tournament operator P.G.L. reported that the Russian club 9Pandas will not play in the tournament PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 By CS2.
The reason is problems with obtaining a visa for some 9Pandas players. It is reported that only three representatives of the team were ready to take part in the tournament in the Danish capital.
The vacant place at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will be filled by GamerLegionwho came second on RMR Decider, losing to 9Pandas in the final.
In the first round of the Opening Stage, GamerLegion will play with another Russian team AMKAL ESPORTS. The fight will take place on Sunday, March 17.
PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 is the first ever CS2 major. The tournament will feature 24 teams competing for a prize fund of $1,250,000. The Major will take place in the Danish capital on March 17-31.
All PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 teams were required to be in Denmark by March 14. Despite multiple extended deadlines, 9Pandas players could only line up 3 eligible today.
As a result, PGL has replaced them with GamerLegion for the tournament.#PGLMAJOR
