27 awards received in water sports
IN Las Vegas the competition has ended United States Air Force Trials 2024.
The main goal of the competition is to attract veterans and military personnel to sports, and to popularize rehabilitation through sports events among veterans. Ukraine will take part in these competitions for the first time.
The Ukrainian team consists of 30 athletes who competed in nine adaptive sports: archery, athletics, cycling, powerlifting, indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby.
The blue-and-yellows won 79 medals: 44 gold, 21 silver and 14 bronze. The most medal-winning event was swimming, which brought the Ukrainian team 27 awards.
Ukrainians won 21 medals in athletics, 19 in indoor rowing, six in powerlifting, and three in archery. The team won one more each in cycling, sitting volleyball and shooting.
