Norwegian Amundsen and American Diggins became the winners of the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup

Norwegian skier Harald Amundsen For the first time in his career, he won the big Crystal Globe following the results of the World Cup for the 2023/24 season.

On Sunday, Amundsen finished 17th in the 20km freestyle mass start at the final World Cup stop in Falun, Sweden. The first three places were taken by his compatriots Johannes Klebo, Göran Tefre and Martin Nyengeth.

Amundsen became the big winner. Klebo is second and another Norwegian, Erik Valnes, third.

Among the women, an American won the big Crystal Globe for the second time in her career Jessica Diggins , who won the mass start on Sunday. Swedes Lynn Svan and Frida Karlsson finished second and third overall.

Russian athletes have been suspended from participating in competitions under the auspices of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) due to the situation in Ukraine.
