At the start of the second half of the meeting, the intrigue remained. Ukraine took the lead four times, but subsequently the Baltic team improved and gradually began to increase their lead. The ending of the meeting was entirely up to the Estonians, the result was a second victory in a row and advancement to the next stage of qualification.
