The team from Gorodok won their second trophy of the season
Epicenter-Podolyany in a dramatic confrontation defeated Prometheus in the men’s final Ukrainian Volleyball Cup 2023/24 – 3:2.
The team from Khmelnytskyi region was stronger in the first game. Prometheus managed to take the second set in a tense fight. The reigning champion was in the lead in the next game, but at the end of the game the team from Gorodok was able to make a breakthrough and again take the lead in the match.
Flavio Gulinelli’s team recovered, confidently taking the upper hand in the fourth set. The tiebreaker was an even fight until the score was 13:13, but then Epicenter-Podolyane managed to snatch the victory.
This trophy was already the second one of the season for the Podolyans. Let us remind you that in November Epicenter-Podolyany – again in confrontation with Prometheus – won its first ever Ukrainian Super Cup.
