Ngannou: I have to give back what boxing took from me

Francis is ready for new challenges in the ring

Former UFC world champion Francis Ngannou expects to continue his boxing career, despite two defeats in the ring to Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

“What awaits me next? There could be a third boxing match. I think boxing owes me something now. I have to give back what boxing took from me. My ego will not allow me to let it all go and leave it like this. I have to prove to the world that I am a dedicated person.”

Ngannou lost a decision to WBC champion Tyson Fury in his first boxing fight. The Cameroonian made a good impression against the current champion title holder, knocking down the “Gypsy King” and inflicting several cuts on the Briton.

However, the fight with Anthony Joshua went according to a different scenario. Ngannou lost to AJ by knockout in the second round. Francis was knocked down several times, and after another blow from Anthony, the referee stopped the fight.
