Egorova trains in Austria. The International Swimming Federation (FINA) announced earlier that it would not invite Russians to competitions under its auspices until the end of 2022.
“Unfortunately, I was refused the competition. And at Mare Nostrum, and at the Norwegian championship, then at competitions in Paris. In principle, I could play at Mare Nostrum, at the French stadium for my club. The club gave me rented a hotel, told me remotely, they paid for everything, but two days before the competition they said that I could not participate. The club apologized – what can they do?
