The Ukrainian biathlon team earned 114,600 euros in prize money for the 2023/24 World Cup season

The amount of prize money earned has become known Ukrainian biathletes And biathletes at stages World Cup in the completed season 2023/24.

In total, representatives of the women’s and men’s national teams of Ukraine earned 114,600 euros in prize money. And this is 33,600 euros more than the results of the previous season 2022/23.

Of this amount, the lion’s share – 83,950 euros – was brought by representatives of the women’s team. Season leader in prize money – Julia Jima (25600 euros). Three more of her colleagues were able to earn more than 15 thousand – Anastasia Merkushina, Irina Petrenko and Kristina Dmitrenko.

Among men, the largest contribution to prize money was made by Dmitry Pidruchny – 14650 euros. In addition to him, three more Ukrainian biathletes received prizes for finishing in the top 30 in individual races and for getting into the top 8 in relay races.

At the individual level, three top 10 finishes are worthy of mention, namely: Prima’s 9th place in the short individual race (Antholz), Merkushina’s 10th result in the pursuit (Lenzerheide) and a similar place taken by Pidruchny in the sprint (Canmore) .
