Mudryk: In the playoffs you need to take what you want right away, without swaying

The Ukrainian national team will play with Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 21

Chelsea winger and Ukrainian national team Mikhail Mudrik spoke about preparations for the match with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the semi-finals of the selection for European Championship 2024.

“Everything is good, I can’t wait to start training. But you need to approach everything wisely, you need a day to recover, and only then prepare to the fullest.”

“It gives every player confidence if he plays well and scores. Reaching the FA Cup semi-finals? The team spirit helped us, the fact that we fought to the end and wanted to win more.”

“Whenever you come to the national team, you have to change from club football. The faster the better. We already know how to do it.”

“Each team is individual, everyone is different. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a separate team that needs to be prepared for separately. Who would you single out? Our opponents have Dzeko and Pjanic – famous footballers.”

“To achieve success in the playoffs, you need not to hesitate, but to immediately go out and take it. Show what you are worth and win.”

On March 21, Bosnia and Herzegovina will host Ukraine in the semi-finals of the Euro 2024 qualifying playoffs in the city of Zenica at the Bilino Pole stadium. Starts at 20:45 local time (21:45 Kyiv time). The match will be officiated by a German team of referees led by Felix Zweier.

If successful, Ukraine will meet the winner of the Israel-Iceland confrontation. The final match will be a “home” match for the blue-yellows and will take place on March 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.

The final part of Euro 2024 will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The matches of the European Championship will be held in arenas in Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.
