Favbet Foundation donated new equipment to the oncology department of Okhmatdet

The assistance package from the Favbet Foundation included a Brightfield Healthcare BH-600A device for heating infusion solutions, blood and plasma components, as well as a MR-1 mini rocker shaker for uniform mixing of solutions

The Favbet Foundation charity team visited the oncology department of the Okhmatdet hospital and handed over modern therapeutic equipment to its employees.

The assistance package from the Favbet Foundation included a Brightfield Healthcare BH-600A device for heating infusion solutions, blood and plasma components, as well as an MR-1 mini rocker shaker for uniform mixing of solutions. Both devices were purchased at the request of department staff.

“Today there are about 25 children in this oncology department. Each of them has their own story of war with a serious and insidious disease. Despite this, they do not lose optimism and continue to fight thanks to the dedicated and professional staff of Okhmatdyt. For its part, the Favbet Foundation will continue to support the hospital in the future.”says Favbet Foundation project curator Olga Korol.

Cooperation between Okhmatdyt and the foundation began last year. Then, with the support of the Favbet Foundation, a modern ultrasound system BK5000 with a set of sensors and software worth more than 4 million UAH was transferred to the hospital, which is used to carry out complex manipulations during the treatment of oncological diseases and vascular pathologies. The system also greatly facilitates the provision of qualified assistance to wounded Ukrainian military personnel.

Today Favbet Foundation is a charitable foundation that, after the outbreak of a full-scale war, is providing troops with cars and drones. However, a significant portion of the funds is also allocated for humanitarian projects, including initiatives in the field of medicine, as well as children’s education and sports. Today, under the auspices of the foundation, several free sports sections are already operating, as well as programming courses for children and teenagers.
