The bronze medalist of the regular season lost to the leader
Dnieper won a difficult victory over Kyiv-Basket in the final match of the 2023/24 regular season FAVBET Super Leagues — 75:72.
The last match of the season between representatives of the top 3 was a success, at least from a plot point of view. The home team was in no way inferior to the regular season champion, alternating the lead with him. In the second quarter the picture did not change. Kyiv-Basket was even able to go into the big break with a +4 lead.
Dmitry Zabirchenko’s team started the third quarter powerfully, at one point its advantage reached ten points. But Dnepr pulled itself together and turned the game around. In the final period, the season leader dictated the terms, and eventually managed to get his 26th victory in 27 matches.
In the quarterfinals, we remind you that Dnepr will fight with Polytechnic-Galicia, and Kyiv-Basket will have Prykarpattya-Hoverla as its opponent. All series will last up to two victories. The starting day of the playoffs is March 26.
