Kolesnikov won the 50m backstroke at the Friendship Games

russian swimmer Kliment Kolesnikov won the 50m backstroke as part of the first stage of the Friendship Games, which takes place in Kazan.

Kolesnikov won with a score of 24.16 seconds. Second place was taken by another representative of Russia, Pavel Samusenko (24.70), bronze went to Belarusian Viktor Staselovich (25.13).

In the decisive swim at a distance of 200 m freestyle, the entire pedestal was occupied by representatives of Russia. Martin Malyutin won gold with a score of 1 minute 46.14 seconds, ahead of Mikhail Dovgalyuk (1:46.79) and Daniil Shatalov (1:46.85).

At a distance of 100 m, the butterfly took first place Mikhail Vekovitchchev (51.58), the second – Petr Zhikharev (51.64), the third – Andrey Zhilkin (51.82).

Alexander Stepanov won the 800m freestyle with a time of 7 minutes 50.63 seconds. Alexander Egorov (7:52.63) was second, Kirill Martynychev (7:56.54) was third.

russian woman Arina Surkova won the 50m freestyle with a time of 24.80 seconds. The second was Daria Klepikova (25.05), the third place was taken by Daria Ustinova (25.15).

russian woman Evgenia Chikunova won the 100m breaststroke with a time of 1 minute 6.60 seconds. Nika Godun (1:06.81) was second, Alina Zmushko (1:07.88) of Belarus was third.

Maria Kameneva of Russia took the lead in the 100m backstroke with a time of 59.26 seconds. Silver was won by Belarusian Anastasia Shkurdai (59.97), bronze by Elizaveta Agapitova (1:01.24).

The 200m individual medley was won by Russian Anastasia Sorokina (2:13.67). Second place was shared by her compatriots Victoria Starostina and Anna Chernysheva (both – 2:14.23).
