Ukrainian Marina Bekh-Romanchuk competes in the long jump final at the 2022 World Championships in Athletics, held in Eugene, USA.
The Ukrainian athlete jumped 6.79 m in the first attempt. After four steps, Bekh-Romanchuk showed a result of 6.82 m in the last attempt, which allowed him to take only eighth place.
The Ukrainian athlete did not repeat his previous success when he won the silver medal at the 2019 World Championships in Doha.

The world champion title in the long jump was defended by Malaika Mihambo from Germany with a score of 7.12 m.
Nigeria’s Ese Brume (7.02m) won the silver medal and Brazil’s Leticia Oro Melu (6.89m) won the bronze medal.
