Athletistic / Figure skating. Last night in Montreal (Canada) the women’s short program competitions of the 2024 World Championships took place. European champion Luna Hendricks from Belgium received the highest points for her performance.

Hendricks executed her program with confidence and took the lead after the short program with a score of 76.98 points. She was more than three points ahead of the American Isabeau Levito (73.73), who became second. South Korean Lee Ha In took third place (73.55).

The World Figure Skating Championships will end on March 23. The girls will skate their free program on the night of March 23 (departure at 1:00 p.m. Moscow time).

Since March 2022, the International Skating Union (ISU), due to the military-political situation in the world, has not allowed figure skaters from Russia and Belarus to participate in competitions under its auspices.
