Ukraine became 31st in the medal standings of the World Championships in Athletics

Our athletes won silver and bronze at the American Eugene competitions.

Team USA confidently won the medal standings at the home track and field athletics championships. In Eugene, the Americans won 33 awards, 13 of which were gold.

The second and third places were taken by the teams of Ethiopia and Jamaica with only 10 medals each.

As for the Ukrainian national team, in the USA our athletes got a silver and a bronze medal. Both got the medal in the high jump.

Recall that Yaroslava Maguchy with a result of 2.02 m became the second in the women’s part of the program, and Andrey Protsenko, who jumped 2.33 m, became the third in the men’s part.

These results made it possible to share the 31st line of the final medal protocol with the Lithuanian team.
