The first round of qualification will take place on November 6-7
Ukrainian men’s handball team will play against Netherlands, Faroe Islands And Kosovo in qualification European Championship 2026.
The blue-yellows are in Quartet 6. The selection will begin in November 2024 and last until May 2025. The exact calendar of the Ukrainian national team will be known later.

Round 1: Wednesday 6 – Thursday 7 November 2024
Round 2: Saturday 9 – Sunday 10 November 2024
Round 3: Wednesday, March 12 – Thursday, March 13, 2025
Round 4: Saturday 15 – Sunday 16 March 2025
Round 5: Wednesday 7 – Thursday 8 May 2025
Round 6: Sunday, May 11, 2025
The teams that take first and second places in the groups will receive tickets to the European Championship. The top four third-place teams also qualify.
The 2026 European Championship will be held in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The host teams of the tournament, as well as the current champion France, automatically qualified for the final round.
Previously, the Ukrainian men’s team failed to qualify for the 2025 World Cup. The blue-and-yellows lost twice to Estonia in the second round of the qualifying playoffs.
