Geraskevich took 18th place in the overall standings of the 2023/24 Skeleton World Cup

Ukrainian Vladislav Geraskevich took 18th place in overall standings of the Skeleton World Cup in the 2023/24 season.

Geraskevich, who competed in 7 of the 8 stages of the season, has 828 points. The Ukrainian athlete missed the competition in Altenberg due to health problems.

Vladislav’s best result of the season was 4th place in Lake Placid. This is a new record for Ukraine at the World Cup stages.

Geraskevich took a place in the top 20 of the World Cup for the sixth time in a row. Vladislav’s personal best in the overall standings is ninth place in the 2018/19 season.

In addition to Geraskevich, two more representatives of Ukraine performed in the 2023/24 season. Yaroslav Lavrenyuk took 35th place, scoring 109 points based on the results of 4 stages. Vladislav Klimenko took the final 46th place (12 points). Having performed at the stage in Altenberg, he became the youngest participant in the history of the Skeleton World Cup.

First place in the overall standings of the 2023/24 Skeleton World Cup for the first time in his career was taken by Briton Matt Weston (1523 points). Next came the German Christopher Grotter (1494) and the Chinese Zhen Yin (1453).
