Figure skater Arthur Danielyan said he plans to play one more tournament this season, but will rely on doctors’ recommendations.
On Friday, Danielyan took part in the ice show of the groups Evgeniy Rukavitsyn and Svetlana Sokolovskaya. The skater performed a short program in which he jumped a quadruple Lutz.
— Is the season over for you? How would you rate it?
“I’m currently undergoing treatment, but I continue to stay in shape. There is a desire to compete at the last start for the prizes of the St. Petersburg Figure Skating Federation. I will start with the doctors’ recommendations. I want to put a nice point on this season. As practice shows, I can only participate in shows.
— Are you following the World Championships in Canada?
– I looked at the men, the girls too. I am a fan of figure skating. Whether it’s beginner competitions or the World Championships, everything interests me. We keep in touch with Nastya Gubanova, fingers crossed for her. I watched it at four in the morning.
