On Saturday, March 23, the mass start of the women’s 30 km freestyle will take place at the Alfa-Bank Russian Cross-Country Ski Championships in the Arkhangelsk region.
The race will be broadcast live on the and Match Arena TV channels; the broadcast will begin at 10:20 Moscow time.
Earlier at the Russian Championships, Olympic champion Veronika Stepanova won the freestyle sprint. Anastasia Kuleshova became the best in skiathlon and classic time trial. In the team sprint, Stepanova and Maria Istomina won gold; in the relay, the Arkhangelsk region team (Stepanova, Istomina, Alina Pekletsova, Svetlana Zaborskaya) celebrated the victory.
The Russian cross-country skiing championship takes place from March 16 to 24 at the Malinovka ski center in the village of Kononovskaya, Arkhangelsk region.
