Athletistic / Figure skating. In Montreal (Canada), the world champion in men’s single skating was determined. On the night of February 24, the skaters abandoned their free program.

Based on the sum of the two performances, the highest scores were obtained by the American Ilya Malinin, of Russian origin. For his free skate, he received an incredible 227.79 points from the judges. In total, he scored 333.76 points for the 2024 World Cup. Note that according to the results of the short program, Malinin took only third place.

The Japanese Yuma Kagiyama will leave Montreal with the silver. Based on the results of two programs, he scored 309.65 points, losing more than 20 points to the winner. The leading trio was completed by Frenchman Adam Xiao Him Fa. For the short and free program, he obtained a total of 284.39 points.
