Japanese figure skater, three-time Olympic medalist Shoma Uno admitted that he might retire after the current season.
On Saturday, Uno, 26, took fourth place at the World Championships in Montreal (Canada). The athlete led the ranking after the short program. American Ilya Malinin won the tournament.
“I was satisfied with my preparation for this tournament and my performance in the short program. It would be great if the competition ended afterwards, then I would be completely satisfied. I wanted to please the coach.
“I have not yet decided whether I will continue skating for another season or not,” Golden Skate quoted Uno as saying.
In addition to two silver and one bronze Olympic medals, Uno has two world championship gold medals.
