Ukrainian tandem Angelina Kalinina/Dayana Yastremskaya reached the second round of the doubles tournament WTA 1000 V Miami.
At the start of the event, Angelina and Dayana defeated a pair of American tennis players – Caroline Dolehide and Deserie Krawczyk – in two sets. The match lasted one hour and 28 minutes.
During the match, the Ukrainians made three double faults and two aces. In the first game, Angelina and Dayana took three of their opponents’ serves (6:2), and in the second set they triumphed in a tiebreaker.
In the second round, Kalinina and Yastremskaya will play against Nicole Melichar (USA) and Ellen Perez (Australia), who are seeded fourth.
