It was learned when Usyk will return to Ukraine after the rematch with Joshua

The Ukrainian will continue to support his countrymen in an all-out war against Russia.

WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk will fight Anthony Joshua for the second time.

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Krasyuk’s promoter shared Usyk’s plans for the future after the fight. According to the functionary, Oleksandr will return to Ukraine immediately.

“I think, if not on August 21, then on August 22, he will be at home. Usyk himself recalled several times that he already missed his homeland.”

“He will return to Ukraine and play again what we call his duty to his country, to motivate the compatriots. I have no doubt about it,” sport.onet.pl quoted Krasiuk as saying.

It will be remembered that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) at the Super Dome arena.

In the first fight in September 2021, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision, winning the championship belt.
