Duplantis wins gold at the 2022 World Championships in Athletics with a new world record

Representative of Sweden Armand Duplantis won gold in the men’s pole vault at the 2022 World Championships in Athletics in Oregon (USA).

The 22-year-old set a new world record with 6.21m. The previous world record was set by him in 2020 and was 6.18 meters.

The top three also included American Christopher Nielsen (5.94m) and Philippine representative Ernest John Obien (5.94m).

Today is the last day of the 2022 World Cup.
