The Ministry of Sports of Russia and the Eurasian Equestrian Association signed a cooperation agreement

Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin and the President of the Eurasian Equestrian Association Marina Sechina signed a cooperation agreement, reports the press service of the department.

The contract is valid until December 31, 2024. The objectives of cooperation between the parties are the creation of a reserve training system in elite sports, the implementation of programs for the development of equestrian sports of youth and academics, as well as the exchange of experiences in the field of education, sports science and anti-doping support.

— Our common task is to create and improve all conditions for children and top athletes. We see great prospects in this cooperation. The format of the Eurasian Association is of great importance not only for equestrian sports, but also for other disciplines. The agreement will determine the implementation of other international projects. Through the support of sport, we ensure its development throughout the country. We have all the strength to implement the boldest initiatives,” Matytsin said.

“We always say and believe with confidence that we always find like-minded people facing the Department of Sports. Our proposals and initiatives are always accompanied by a response within these walls. I would like to emphasize that the International Equestrian Federation considers our dressage project at the Eurasian Games to be the most successful,” Sechina said.

The Ministry of Sports of Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union will work together in the organization and holding of equestrian sports events with the participation of the countries of the EAEU, CIS, SCO and BRICS, promote the development of equestrian sports in subordinate organizations and will engage in its development with the involvement of all necessary resources.
