Athletistic/ Figure Skating. Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova and honored coach of Russia Eteri Tutberidze discussed the problem of lack of motivation of Russian athletes due to suspension of international tournaments.
In particular, Tutberidze spoke about the prospects of Sofia Akatieva.
“Sonya Akatieva would probably already be world champion among juniors. And she is nobody. Without a title, without anything. And tomorrow is not promised to us,” Tutberidze said on Channel One.
Recall that earlier Tutberidze went to the United States. Many believed that the specialist would stay there to work. But Tutberidze eventually returned to Russia.
