Figure skater Sofia Leontieva dancing in ice dance with Daniel Gorelkin told that they never wanted to stop working together.

March 26 marks the sixth anniversary of the creation of the dance duo Leontiev and Gorelkin.

“Today is the day we became a couple; we have been skating together for six years now.” I am very happy that since childhood we have walked hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder. We probably stay together this long because we have intelligence and resilience. We respect, value and believe in each other. Of course, we believe in our wonderful coaches. I think the happiest time is yet to come.

During training, Danya can suggest something to make me more comfortable. He can correct the choreography, because he dances very calmly and has an excellent sense of music. It doesn’t teach me anything in life, since we don’t intrude into each other’s personal lives.

Leontyeva and Gorelkin are Russian Championship silver medalists. This year, the couple took 5th place at the Russian Championship and became 4th at the Spartakiad of the Strongest.
