Diver Viktor Povzner, who previously competed for the Russian national team, has changed his sporting citizenship and will represent Canada in international competitions.
Povzner, 22, is originally from Toronto. In 2018, as part of the Canadian team, he won gold at the World Junior Synchronized Ski Jumping Championships, after which he moved to Russia. In 2022, the athlete returned to Canada and won two gold medals at the 2023 national championship.
