Shakhtar’s midfielder gave two assists in the match against Iceland

Midfielder Ukrainian national team Georgy Sudakov shared his emotions after the victorious match against Iceland (2:1) in the final playoff qualifying for Euro 2024.

“Assist on Mudryk? The connection worked. I saw Mikhail, he shouted, and I gave him the pass. And then there was his execution and skill.

In the first half, we adjusted a little to Iceland’s play, but we should have started with our own. Fortunately, they quickly corrected themselves in the second half. During the break, Rebrov told me and Malinovsky to rise a little higher and play more attacking, work faster with the ball, play forward.

Yaremchuk’s disallowed goal gave us an impulse. We saw that we could score a goal,” said Sudakov.
